Letter #52- I'm Dreaming of a white Christmas....

December 22, 2014
Everyone,
Okay first Merry Christmas! It's an exciting time of the year! We have
been keeping busy this week finding new people and talking with
everyone how Jesus Christ is the gift of this season! One particular
miracle I would like to share with you is that on Sunday night we went
knocking around and was feeling like we weren't having much success
but then when we came to a door a younger lady answered, we said what
church were from and that we have a short video we would love to share
with her it's a three minute video. She said sure come on In and we
did and there were four little kids and they enjoyed the video called
he is the gift. That was a great miracle! Had the mission Christmas
party which was enjoyable! All this we have been focusing our
investigators in reading in the Book of Mormon and that is a really
great way to help them find the answers they are looking for. The
reason why I put dreaming of a white Christmas because it's just been
one of my thoughts that help me to imagine every single one of the
children of God dressed in white! Sunday we called Charlotte batten
who is so funny and a sweet elderly sister and has been wanting to
come to church for a while and she did! She came, we sang in choir and
we are looking forward to another great week! I love you all!
With love,
Sister-Hatch

who has a rack to borrow so we can do service for people in a
neighborhood! Then ended that night seeing less actives. Friday weekly
planning and saw more members and ended the night seeing Brittany (la)
having a good conversation with her. Saturday got a call from the
Evans (la) thanking us for sticky notes and wanted our help decorating
their tree, so went and helped them. Kept busy seeing others before

December 8, 2014
Everyone,
Transfer week! Sister Davidson is going home and sister winkler will
be my new companion! I will tell you all about her in next weeks
letter! So another busy but fun and full of enjoyable miracles!
Started off with seeing sister Neely, ending our night meeting the
Dimitrovs inviting them the ward Christmas party coming up this week!
Meetings and a bunch of sticky notings in facts that's why there's a
picture of goats because we got caught sticky noting a member and then
they asked if we wanted to see their goats and so we did! They are way
cute! Sister Yoshida an awesome member took us to lunch and then we
went and visited sister lablonc a less active who came to church ended
that night seeing sister Lehman. Had another lunch with our
investigator Kathy which was really good, Thats her in the last
picture. Meet sister Horcher who lives next to a river. Another lunch
again with another investigator priti which was great and also saw
sister Wynkoop! It's great to see many mighty miracles and blessings
coming forth in Orange park! I love you all! Continue spreading those

Letter #49- Where Can I turn for peace!

December 1, 2014
Everyone,
Happy December Monday! So we have been having a fun, crazy, enjoyable day!
Monday We went and visited sister Wynkoop then went and saw Wendy, Which was a huge miracle! Tuesday We went and helped out the thrift store, saw Kathy that afternoon then later that evening saw Sister Lott and had a dinner appointment with Tanya and Scott Bishop! Wednesday had an amazing district meeting and set some achievable plans. Later that evening went to stop by and talked with sister Lehman which was great because she really needed someone to talk to! Thursday,Thanksgiving! Did our usual things in the morning (exercise, preparing our self's, studies) Then we went out and about from there. Had Dinner at the Mills (a younger couple) which was fun and fantastic, had a traditional meal and then played some games and had dessert. After that went to the Hills and had more dessert! Friday sister Davidson went to the temple so I hanged out in Timuquana, FL. with sister Waldron (who had been in my MTC zone). One of the sisters chains on their bike was out of place and before we headed back to our area I had just put the chain back on real easy! Went on having dinner with the Goebels which was fun! Saturday visited sister Haynes then sticky noted a lot of people! Sunday Sister Davidson gave a talk along with our ward mission leader, which went fantastic! Quite a few people came to church on Sunday! With this whole week what I have learned what little things bring peace into life like listening to missionary appropriate Christmas music, fixing things, having an awesome sweet companion who laughs and smiles at anything in any occasion! We have another busy week ahead of us but is going to great! I hope you all ate a ton of Turkey and Kept safe! If any of you haven't heard yet there is a Christmas video that the Church put out that you all should watch, Its called 'He is the Gift'! I am grateful for the many blessing that have been and are yet to be placed in my life! I love you all!

Letter #48- Adventure is out there!

November 24, 2014
Everyone!
First, Happy Turkey day! There's a lot of things to be grateful for
this time of year! I will say at least five things I am grateful for 1
my family and friends as we are children of our loving Heavenly Father
2 the restored gospel of Jesus Christ 3 the Temple where we make more
promises and be able to be brought together with our families for time
and all eternity! 4 Peace and comfort received from the Holy Ghost 5
to be a missionary serving all those around me!
This week has been great meeting new people like Jim, priti, and Kanoi
also having a member come out and visit people with us! I know there
are great things coming even after little discouragement and
rejections there have mighty huge miracles like helping Kanoi get
ready for a family trip, just talking with Jim (who is older nicer
gentleman) and hearing his stories, and having the member offer a
small gift to priti for her to have. Also even seeing some less active
members come back to church on their own and having our beautiful
choir sing with out a piano! So much gratitude and giving this week
and for always! I love you all!

Letter #47- Who Would've Thought

November 17, 2014

Everyone,
A year ago today I was dropped off at the mtc by my sister and dearest
mother! Being a missionary I have definitely learned a ton and still
have much to learn! So this week we kept busy helping members know
about a facebook event that we are having going on right now until
thanksgiving, it's where you will post a one minute video explaining
who you are and why you are grateful to be a mormon and then you
challenge three other people why they are grateful to be mormon
conclude with I'm thankful to be a mormon and then post it on line
with the hash tags #thankfultobeamormon #sunvalleyward! I would love
to see those videos! Glad you all enjoyed the temple dedication! We
met up Stephanie our investigator and talked with her! Keep up the
awesome work you all do! Love you all!

Letter #46- Being a Missionary

November 10, 2014

Everyone,
Being a missionary there are a lot of things we do and learn. Cleaning cars, keeping well on miles. Being feed well by members. Meetings with
mission president, gain some really good insights from him and his
wife. Helping at relief society craft day activies. Talk with elderly
ladies that just make me laugh and smile. Going to a high priest group
social bonfire and talking with all the members. Of course being a
missionary sharing the love and joy that Jesus Christ himself had
showed while here on earth is what I love most about being a
missionary!
With love,
Sister-Hatch

Letter #45- Your in Orange Park when...

November 3rd, 2014
Everyone,
So Sister Davidson is my companion! She loves to play the flute! Awesome with meeting people. Has six more weeks left of her mission but she is going to love it here in Orange park! She is from California. I just already have a ton of things to say about her. I failed to mention in my last letter but the thing I loved most about sister Blatter was that she would say "lets go save Orange Park!" and so that praise has been stuck with me ever since! Sister Davidson and I are Now going to go save Orange Park! We have already seen so many mighty miracles, catching up with less active and recent converts. Had a lesson with a part member family and invited the two boys to baptism and they said yes! Seen our investigators and had awesome lessons with them. Had an opportunity in Relief society to share what we call " missionary thoughts" which went really well! Sister Davidson is also awesome even if we run into awkward moments like when we went to sticky note a less actives doors and it wasn't closed all the way, dog starts barking and her son comes to the door or when the neighbors of a less active come over and asks what your doing after having left a sticky note for them. But among those awkward moments there were some pretty neat moments like going to check up on a sister that our bishop asked us to check up on and her husband invited us to come see a bald eagle in his back yard and while we were there he had caught a huge cat fish. We went to check up on an investigator and that was a great visit. There is truly great blessings in the work of the lord. I love you all!
With Love,
Sister Hatch

Letter #44- Mighty change!

October 28, 2014
Everyone,
So this week is transfers and I will be getting a new companion, I
will be sure to tell you about her soon. This week has been great, we
had a lesson with a lady named Stephanie and her two little daughters.
which went very well especially having a member present with us, it
just adds more testimonies to what we have to share. Went on
companionship exchanges. We had the ward trunk or treat which was a
ton of fun and a lot of members with awesome costumes. Some wonder
women or super heroes, others characters from frozen. Went on a hike
with sisters in Middleburg, Florida which was fun. Oh I never have
told you but here in Orange park there are quite a few people who work
for the navy which is really neat but also means at times we loss some
members but we know the lord places us where we need to be and work
at. Keep doing awesome missionary work and enjoy the temple open
house! Ever onward!
With love,
Sister-Hatch
Pictures from our nature walk in Middleburg with the Middleburg
sisters and our goal was to find the river and we did.

Letter #43- Armor of God

October 20, 2014

Everyone,
Put on the armor of God! (but also make sure it fits you well, hehe!). This week has been great! Going where the lord needs us to be, sharing what needs to be said to the listeners, helping a member with their yard, doing tai chi and enjoying smoothies with the sisters of the ward, also getting to help in nursery for a little bit on Sunday! We had a pretty good week meeting up with people! With the song I have put below we are all enlisted and we all have our suits on for battle, which the fight with advisory is real we just need to make sure is always at hands. Follow the councils and guidances that are given to us at the ready for what may come at us! Love you all very much!
With love,
Sister Hatch

"We are all enlisted till the conflict is o’er;
Happy are we! Happy are we!
Soldiers in the army, there’s a bright crown in store;
We shall win and wear it by and by.
Haste to the battle, quick to the field;
Truth is our helmet, buckler, and shield.
Stand by our colors; proudly they wave!
We’re joyfully, joyfully marching to our home.
We are all enlisted till the conflict is o’er;
Happy are we! Happy are we!
Soldiers in the army, there’s a bright crown in store;
We shall win and wear it by and by." Hymn #250

Letter #42 - Going On!

October 13, 2014
Everyone,
It has been a great week. we have been busy working with church members and helping our neighborly hospice community thrift store. There is for sure a lot work to come along as we help struggling members make steps back towards church. I have learned thus far how important it is to Listen, Focus and Act on feelings you may have because with out those things there wont be much helping others come unto Jesus Christ and feel his love. I know the Savior knows the intents of our hearts and is always ready to help us get us to where we need to be. How grateful I am for this gospel, the love and support we missionaries out here and back at home. Keep on, Keeping on! Smile on!
With Love,
Sister Hatch

Letter #41- General Conference according to Sister Hatch

October 6, 2014
Everyone,
So most of you have watched or heard General Conference! If not, I suggest you do because it is very neat to hear those inspiring messages! I especially liked it when Elder Allan F. Packer Spoke about the story of his Hatchet and how its important to focus, take the cover off and go to work! or When President Thomas S. Monson spoke about Jesus Christ and how "Walking where Jesus walked is not as important as walking AS Jesus walked". I just LOVE conference!
Well aside from Conference we had a pretty good week, getting people excited for conference, lessons with investigators at members homes, members coming out to visit children of God with us and sharing thoughts with those that need strengthening! Enjoy Pheonix open house and Dedication as well Dont forget to see "Meet the Mormons" its a really sweet movie! I love you all!
With Love,

Letter #40- Name Tags and Coming to Church

September 29, 2014
Everyone,
So this week has been grand filled with miracles and a great Birthday! Thanks to all those who had wished me a happy birthday! So the biggest miracle we had this week was before the Women's Broadcast when we knocked on a ladies door, her name is Wendy and she has a son named Richie! When we knocked she answered then stared our name tags for a little while and then said " Can you get us a ride to church?" Sister Blatter and I said "yes!" and so we exchanged information to let her know who's picking her up. Our evening went on, enjoyed Women's broadcast which a member who hasn't been to church in a while came and enjoyed it! Next day we waited to see her and the members walk through the chapel doors and when we saw them she and her son sat by us. They enjoyed church for the first time in 30 years (she used to go to baptist church)! After Church she invited us over for lunch, enjoyed talking with her and answering questions she had for us! From this miracle I have realized how important it is to have and us the Christ like attributes because as a missionary we bear his name on our tags and as members it his name should be written in our hearts! I am excited for General Conference and I hope you all are too, Don't forget to do the Facebook event #Theprophetspeaks to see some neat testimonies and to ask missionaries questions, as well as what Sister Ramsay Hatch Said to request meet the mormons to play in a theatre near you! I love you all and Hope you all keep dry with the weather in Arizona!
With Love,
Sister Hatch

Letter #39- In Case of an Emergency and Goals

September 22, 2014
Everyone,
Okay, so you must be thinking "why is the title like that?" Well because I am about to give you some tips on what can save our lives if we ever get caught in a sticky situation its called CPR, Church- where we can partake of the sacrament and renew our covenants, fellowship   Pray- to receive guidance and inspiration Read-to find answers to questions and have aha moments! These are three important things to have in your daily life and they truly do help a lot! This week has been great, Sister Blatter and I have had a great week! We got back in contact with a a lady who in the past has been visited by missionaries and she had really good questions about modern day prophets, we answered her questions and invited her to women's broad cast and General conference, which is going to be grand. Sister Blatter and I went on exchanges this week and I was in orange park with sister crawford. One neat experience we had was we were knocking on doors in a neighborhood and we were heading back to our car when sister Crawford said "lets try this door real quick" we did and no one was home so we decided to leave a Mormon.org card and then just as we were about to walk back a car was backing into the drive way and so we said hi and introduced our self's and then we just talked with her, as we were talking a scripture came to mind and i decided to share that scripture with her in the book of Mormon relating to what she was talking about. she enjoyed it and was happy that we had talked with her. We asked her if she would like to hear more of what we share and she said yes so we set up a time when to meet. This all came about because before walking around and knocking we had set goals and what we want to accomplish and we were able to reach those goals. when we set goals it makes me feel more accountable and desirable to accomplish things.Grand things do come forth when you are diligently and obediently working. I love this gospel, grateful for Jesus Christ and the love and example he has set for us. I love you all!

Sister Hatch

Letter #38- JOY!

September 16, 2014
Everyone,
Being out here on a mission in orange park there can be a lot of
things that brings us a lot of joy as missionaries such as doing
service! Joy to help some one paint their house, bringing down a wall
to create more room, helping out at a thrift store and much more like
listening to people talk or tell stories. I heard this analogy where
joy stands for Jesus Christ Others Yourself. When you put Jesus first
then you can love others as he has and find happiness within yourself
for having that relationship with Jesus Christ. So when feeling sad
feel joy. I love you all!

Letter #37- Formulas and Drawings

September 8, 2014

To one and all,
All has been going well in orange park, getting the area down pretty
well and loving the members and people I have been meeting!
So this week what I have been thinking of sharing with ya'll is what I
have learned from others in Sunday class and missionary meetings! In
missionary meeting there is this formula (a sister missionary had
shared) on how we can increase our relationship with Jesus Christ, it
goes like this- R+P+H+A= RC2 which means Read+Pray+Humility+Act =
Repent and change
Second in Sunday class the teacher had drawn a picture that
represented resurrection and gospel of Jesus Christ there is a picture
down in the bottom on how this looks. So because Jesus Christ over
came death and that bridge was formed we can continue through life but
at times we may make mistakes and fall in a pit but we can take steps
that have been provided for us to get out of those pits. From these
two things that I have shared its all done with action and attitude!
Developing Christ like attributes takes time and is a big process to
become like Jesus but as we do those things we shall have eternal life
(2 Nephi 31:20)! I am grateful for that we gain and can continue to
learn and grow in life. I love you all!
With love,
Sister-Hatch

Letter #36- Familias son para siempre

September 1, 2014
Everyone,
Firstly, I was just using the translator on the iPad , so the subject
says 'Families are forever'! I know this to be true because no matter
where I am at I can feel their love and joy no matter how far I am. We
have had a pretty good week with less actives and recent converts.
Every time I see a recent convert or less active come to church it
brings us joy and happiness because they are making a step back to
their Heavenly Father! I know Heavenly Father knows the desires of our
hearts and can help us when we ask and act on that help. I love you
all!
With all,
Sister-Hatch

Letter #35- "We all have great power and potential"

August 25, 2014

Everyone,
Its been a pretty good week! Sister Blatter and I have had some neat miracles this week! Monday and Tuesday we went on an exchange with other sisters which was neat because Sister Blatter got to do a family home evening with some people in the ward and I got to help a sister start family history. Looking up information about your ancestors is a really neat experience and truly can bring joy to your heart. Wednesday we had a missionary meeting (zone conference) which is always great to hear from our Mission President and His Wife because they always have inspiring thoughts to share! Later that night when we got home our power was turned off but all was worked out and things were up and running again. Thursday we biked a good portion of our day which was well. Sunday we went to check on an investigator and she was home which was good but before her we saw a potential investigator that we have been trying to get into contact with which was great. With this whole week I have been thinking we all have great power and potential to do great things but we at times need to rely on the lord and the help he provides for us. I love you all!
With love,
Sister Hatch

Letter #34- "… Strengthen and Love One Another"

August 18, 2014

Familia and Amigos!
Hope all has been going well for you all in Arizona! I have been enjoying it here in Orange park thus far! We have been busy moving people in and out of homes this week but it was all worth while! We have been meeting members, less actives and recent converts like crazy once more! Some of them came to church on Sunday and had enjoyed it. Out here on my mission I have been realizing how important it is to help strengthen and love one another. Just as Alma was sharing with the people that it is our responsibility to bear burdens, comfort, and to even mourn with those in need of those things and to stand as a witness of God at all times, in all things and in all places that we all might gain a great reward and to feel the spirit more abundantly in our lives! I know Heavenly father and Jesus Christ Love us all so very much and want the very best for all of us!
With Love,
Sister Hatch

Letter #33- From the country side of Ocala to the City of Orange Park

To All From A-Z,
I am now In a town called Orange Park! Sister Blatter is my new companion! She is a truly dedicated and loving servant of the lord! I am looking forward to many great adventures with her! Our first week together was a little Crazy but all ended well. We did a surprise service (Pulling weeds) for a family in the ward that was out of town. Then we met people here and there, maybe even sticky noted some members doors. Saturday we helped a family move into the ward, which the ward was excited about and it went super fast getting things in. Then Sunday Sister Blatter gave an excellent talk in sacrament meeting. later that evening a part of our mission had a surprise visit from Elder D. Todd Christopherson who came and spoke to us and answered questions we had! it was neat we all got to shake his hand. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ Love us so much and wouldn't give us more than we can not handle! There are great things to come forth in the work of the lord. I love ya'll!
With Love,
Sister Hatch

Letter #31- Who is your super hero?

July 21, 2014

Dear everyone,
This week has been good. We have been biking good miles and keeping
safe as we do so. We had a neat miracle on Sunday with a mom and her
two daughters (they have been investigating before), they came to
church and a pretty neat experience. So my mom sent me a package and
in it was a pez captain America (who is one of my favorite heros).
Anytime I see or think of a super hero I think of Jesus Christ because
he is the most supreme super hero of all. I know it's through him that
we can do great things and be able to go forward in faith. I love you
all.
With love,
Sister-Hatch

Letter #30- He can lead and guide you

July 14, 2014

To all,
We have been having a great week especially on our bikes and getting
from place to place. You know out here I have putting some
scouting/hunting skills into action by using specific landmarks to get
from place to place on bikes. That reminds me of the story in the Book
of Mormon where Lehi and his family are given a liahona that helps
leads and guides them but it only works by their exceedingly great
faith. We had worked by faith to have met the people we met and have
been where The Lord needed us to be. I know he can lead and guide you
as you trust in him and are faithfully living his commandments. I am
grateful for Jesus Christ who can help us get back on the right track
even if we drift a little ways because his arm is always out stretched
to us ready to pick us back up if we fall. Love you all.
Reach out,
Sister-Hatch

Letter #29- "Follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ"

June 16, 2014
Dear everyone,
We had a great week out here. We had a baptism for a girl named Emily.
Is was such a wonderful day for her. It's always exciting and a joy to
see someone follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ. This baptism of
this young sister has reminded me of when I was baptized and that
choice I have made for myself with the love and support of my family.
I know within this church we are all brothers and sisters, sons and
daughters of a loving Heavenly Father. With every choice we make comes
great joy and excitement and eternal life. I love you all.
With love,
Sister-Hatch

Letter #28- "Spiritual Whirlwinds"

June 9, 2014
Dear everyone,
It's been a pretty great week out here even with this weather. When there's a storm coming it pours and there's no stopping it. With this weather out here it reminds me of of that talk from general conference called spiritual whirlwinds and the part where he talks about the trees and how when in windy storms the tree does things within its self to keep strong and not blow over. These trees out here are certainly built to stand these storms and so can we as we firmly plant our roots in the gospel of Jesus Christ and do everything in our might to stand strong and faithful with his trust and love. I know we may get knocked over sometimes but his arm is always stretched out to us and ready to pick us up.
With love,
Sister-Hatch

Letter #27- " Great things come forth as you do great things with faith trust and love in the Savior"

June 2, 2014

Dear everyone,
So these past weeks we have been working with a young women age
investigator and she finally went to young women with out us needing
to be in there because the young women invited her there. (we usually
go in Relief Society). It's really important to be fellowshipped in
all aspects of the church so that we can keep strong and learn from
one another. Another great thing that happened this week is sister
Beesley had invited a less active if she would like to come out and
visit people with us and she said yes. It is important to make sure
those you interact with feel your love and the love of the savior to
keep strong. I know great things come forth as you do great things
with faith trust and love in the savior.
With love,
Sister-Hatch

Letter #26- Happy Memorial Day

May 26, 2014

Dear everyone,
Happy Memorial Day to y'all! There's a story in the Book of Mormon I
want to share with you all. So there is this great leader named Moroni
who is a chief commander of an army. He rent his coat and writes on it
"In memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our
wives, and our children" then after he writes on it he puts it on a
pole and raises it high for all to see. Alma 46:11-13. I love that he
stood as leader to defend and that he made in memory for all those
things which are important in our life. I am grateful for this country
I am in today and to be able to have those free choices to make and
having great memories of all those grand leaders who have got us to
where we are today. Love y'all

Letter #25- "We truly are a part of the lords army"

May 19, 2014

Everyone,
It's been a great week. Enjoying talking to people and keeping busy
trying to get down the southern accent, hehe I don't know if I can get
it down. I am looking forward to another great week with sister
Beesley and I talking with a lot of people. I am grateful to be a
missionary and to be seeing many other youths joining as a trump of
The Lord proclaiming this gospel to all those around us. We truly are
a part of the lords army accomplishing great things against the
adversary. Keep steady, strong and true where you stand and what you
know.

Letter #24- Happy Mother's Day 2014

May 13th, 2015
Dear everyone,
It's been a great week. Sister Beesley and I, as usual are keeping
busy meeting with people. It was great to talk with my family on
Mother's Day. I want to wish all of you moms out there a happy
Mother's Day and hope you had a joyous one! I am grateful for moms who
keep strong and are diligent with work, kids, school, house cleaning
and much more. I know just as Jesus Christ's mother, Mary, had set a
great example to him as he was learning and growing. We are all
learning and growing from one another. I am grateful just as the 2000
soldiers of Helamans army that never doubted what their mothers had
taught them and went forward in strength and courage. Love you all.
With love,
Sister Hatch

Letter #23- I Love to See the Temple

May 5, 2014
To one and all,
It's been a great week here in Florida. On Sunday we had a dedication
for a temple that was built in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Which was
very neat. I love to see the temple and I know the temple is a place
where families can be sealed for time and all eternity! It was a great
feeling I felt at the dedication and I am grateful for the members out
here who strive to go and help out in the temple. I love you all.

Letter #22- "What are you doing to follow in the foot steps of Jesus Christ?"

April 28, 2014

Dearly beloved children of God,
We had an exciting week here in Florida! A sister named Shantilly decided
to follow the saviors footstep and was baptized on Sunday evening! It
brings me such happiness to see those make the biggest step in their life
because this gospel does bring us joy and happiness. What are you doing to
follow in the foot steps of Jesus Christ? I know great things are
accomplished as you put your trust in him. I love ya'll!

Letter #21- "Because of Him"

April 21, 2014

Dearly beloved children of God,
Hope you all had an enjoyable Easter Day. I know we did, enjoying it
with members and people we talk with. I don't know if you all heard or
seen the "because of him" video, it's a really neat one to watch. I am
grateful for the savior and all that he's done for us. I know it's
because of him all things are possible. Who is the savior to you?
Because of him we need no fear for the present or for the future. I
love you all as he loves us all!

To One and All,
This week has been great, keeping busy meeting with people and sharing about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am looking forward to a great Easter. I know Jesus Christ lives today and is always an arm reach away to help us through life. I love this gospel and to be here in Florida sharing it with those that we meet.I love you all and so does your Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Letter #19- Conference

April 7, 2014

Dear Everyone,
Hope ya'll enjoyed conference and learned something new from the speakers. One of the talks I liked most was from Elder Rasband talking about taking a joyful burden of discipleship, especially the quote he shared when asking President Monson a question, President Monson took his hand and replied: “First, tell them I love them. Second, tell them I am praying for them. Third, please thank all those who are helping.” I love hearing the inspiring words from our prophet and the many other church leaders. I challenge you all to take what you have learned and heard from conference and apply it into your life and share with those around you these inspiring messages.
With love,
Sister Hatch

love you hope all is well

Letter #17- Being "Exactly Obedient"

March 24th, 2014
Dear everyone,
It's been a great week. Keeping busy with people most everyone is going out of town for spring break which we will work some way to keep in contact with them. I know when you strive to be exactly obedient and do all The Lord has commanded he will provide miracles and blessings in your life. My favorite example in the Book of Mormon of someone being exactly obedient is Nephi who said  "And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them." - 1 Nephi 3:7. A miracle that happened this week was sister hall and I were short on copies of the Book of Mormon but one night I was tucking in my sheets on my bed when I lifted the top mattress underneath there was a Book of Mormon. I told sister hall and we both were happy and had a pretty good laugh. I know when you are seeking for the treasure of knowledge he will provide what you need at the most unexpected times and places. I am also grateful for the beauty of the earth and the things Heavenly Father has created such as peacocks, while we were out knocking on doors we saw one, which was awesome. I love ya'll and so does your Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Letter #15- Faith

March 10, 2014
Dear everyone,
Well this past week, as usual just keeping busy sharing the love of Jesus Christ with those we meet. Every person we meet have their own personality and way of thinking and I enjoy getting to meet and learn about these people. I know The Lord leads us by faith to find these people. Faith means taking action on what you believe for with out faith there is no hope. Faith is the first principle of the gospel and leads us to come more like our Heavenly Father. An example of faith we had this week that I will share with you is believing that The Lord will help us meet with the people that we plan to meet with even if they won't answer phone calls but through all things and acting on what you feel is best to do The Lord will help you accomplish great things. Keep living firm in the faith and do all The Lord wants you to do. I love you all.

Letter #16- Happy Saint Patrick's Day

March 17th, 2014
Dear Everyone,
This has been a great week! Of course starts out with meeting with people and seeing how they are doing. On Friday evening we were out walking and going to knock on doors. There were a couple of boys out riding bike and skateboard and we talked to them and one of the boys said we can go talk to his mom. so we go to knock on the door and a young girl named Amelia answers it, we talk to her and she said she would like to come to church so we find her a ride and she was able to come. Another miracle on Saturday the Ocala second ward were having a baptism, its always great to see the decision the people make to come closer to heavenly father, so we invited an investigator so that he could see what a baptism was like. I know the lord can make great things happen when the time and place is right. I know he loves us all and wants us to all we can to come closer to him. Happy Saint Patrick's Day to Ya'll!
With Love,
Sister Hatch

Letter #13- Adventures in Florida

02/24/2014

Dear Everybody,
Have any of you tried any thing interest before like Frog legs? Well I got to try frog legs from a fish-fry they had on Saturday and at first it tasted like chicken but then had a pond froggy flavor after the second bit. It was great, Sister Hall tried it, she isn't a big fan of fish but she found it interesting too. Well this week another interesting thing that happened was we were driving through a apartment complex and there was this one guy in his car who drove past and then he stops and we stopped and through the car window asks us if we had a boyfriend and if he could get our numbers but we didn't give him our number because we said we can call him to invite him to church, so we got his number.Sister Hall and I just left laughing because of these people and the random things they do. On Sunday we were happy to have a man named Tony come to church for the second time who has been taking the lessons from us for quit a while. I am grateful to be out here in Ocala, Florida and to be sharing what I know with those that we meet. I love ya'll just as Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ Love you!
With Love,
Sister Hatch

Letter #12- New Toys

02/18/2014

Dearly beloved Children of God in Arizona,
This past week has been great learning lots and Keeping the lords work going. This week Sister Hall and I got to use I-pads as effectively as we can by showing Mormon Message videos to people that we meet. I know these videos that have been provided for us to share are truly inspired and worth sharing. There are alot of things out there that we can do to help us change. I know out here on my mission I have been changing myself from what I have been learning and experiencing because there is so much to still learn. I have a question to ask you all, like Alma in the book of mormon had asked, "Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty Change in your hearts?" -Alma 5:14. we are to prepare our self's to have a mighty change of heart by reading the scriptures and saying our prayers so that we can stand against the temptations of evil, building those strong walls like Moroni did to protect his people.I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ Loves us all and want us to become better every day in all that we do and say. We have this one lady named Tilly, who has two daughters, she is so sweet and is doing all that she can to come closer to our heavenly father.I grateful for the many people I am and have yet to meet out here, Its exciting to find out and see who is going to be behind that door we knock on. I am grateful to be a missionary! Keep up the great work you all do at home! I love you all!
With Love,
Sister Hatch

Letter #11- "Heavenly father and Jesus Christ truly do Love us all!"

02/10/2014

Dear Mom,
Heavenly father and Jesus Christ truly do Love us all! Last week on Thursday, we got I-pads as a whole mission! Sister Hall and I are still working on getting use to them and figuring how to work them. The lord is truly putting a lot of trust in us to teach people online, nationally and Face to face using the neat devices to help enhance the work effectively. I only have one more week left of training! Its crazy how fast time can fly when your putting all your effort and focus on the lords work! some pretty interesting stories that happened this week was we had a preacher guy tell us that the black were the chosen ones and ghettos are part of the tribes of Israel (cant remember what he said exactly). Its just great to be a part of and have the knowledge on the full gospel of Jesus Christ! I Hope you all have a great Valentines week! I love you all!
With Love,
Sister Hatch

Letter #10- Small Miracles

02/03/2014

Dear Mom,
Well this past week was pretty good, On Monday one of our investigators asked us if we wanted to come help him with some yard work (no missionary can put down a service opportunity) but it was trying to get a day that would work for him and us. So on Saturday evening we went to his house and racked up leaves it was great and we had a neat discussion with him about faith. On Wednesday and Thursday Sister Hall and I went on exchanges with the Sister Training Leaders,Sister Dodd and Phelon. They are such great leaders, every leaders are called for a reason. I was with Sister Phelon in Gainesville, which is where a YSA ward and branch are. Some neat things that happened was we were able to get into contact with a less active and had a really good lesson with her. Also we were just blessed to have been at the right place at the right time to meet the people we wanted to get into contact with. And I know asking inspiring questions or questions of the soul really does help when you are acting with the spirit! Sister Hall and Dodd had some awesome miracles too. On Sunday we got a less active to church because she hasn't been there in a while.Sunday was just great, I love hearing the members testimonies! The Lord blesses you when you are exactly obedient and do all that you can through him.Keep up the awesome things you all do.I love you all so very much!
With Love,
Sister Hatch
