Letter #39- In Case of an Emergency and Goals

September 22, 2014
Everyone,
Okay, so you must be thinking "why is the title like that?" Well because I am about to give you some tips on what can save our lives if we ever get caught in a sticky situation its called CPR, Church- where we can partake of the sacrament and renew our covenants, fellowship   Pray- to receive guidance and inspiration Read-to find answers to questions and have aha moments! These are three important things to have in your daily life and they truly do help a lot! This week has been great, Sister Blatter and I have had a great week! We got back in contact with a a lady who in the past has been visited by missionaries and she had really good questions about modern day prophets, we answered her questions and invited her to women's broad cast and General conference, which is going to be grand. Sister Blatter and I went on exchanges this week and I was in orange park with sister crawford. One neat experience we had was we were knocking on doors in a neighborhood and we were heading back to our car when sister Crawford said "lets try this door real quick" we did and no one was home so we decided to leave a Mormon.org card and then just as we were about to walk back a car was backing into the drive way and so we said hi and introduced our self's and then we just talked with her, as we were talking a scripture came to mind and i decided to share that scripture with her in the book of Mormon relating to what she was talking about. she enjoyed it and was happy that we had talked with her. We asked her if she would like to hear more of what we share and she said yes so we set up a time when to meet. This all came about because before walking around and knocking we had set goals and what we want to accomplish and we were able to reach those goals. when we set goals it makes me feel more accountable and desirable to accomplish things.Grand things do come forth when you are diligently and obediently working. I love this gospel, grateful for Jesus Christ and the love and example he has set for us. I love you all!
With Love,
Sister Hatch

Letter #38- JOY!

September 16, 2014
Everyone,
Being out here on a mission in orange park there can be a lot of
things that brings us a lot of joy as missionaries such as doing
service! Joy to help some one paint their house, bringing down a wall
to create more room, helping out at a thrift store and much more like
listening to people talk or tell stories. I heard this analogy where
joy stands for Jesus Christ Others Yourself. When you put Jesus first
then you can love others as he has and find happiness within yourself
for having that relationship with Jesus Christ. So when feeling sad
feel joy. I love you all!
With love,

Letter #37- Formulas and Drawings

September 8, 2014

To one and all,
All has been going well in orange park, getting the area down pretty
well and loving the members and people I have been meeting!
So this week what I have been thinking of sharing with ya'll is what I
have learned from others in Sunday class and missionary meetings! In
missionary meeting there is this formula (a sister missionary had
shared) on how we can increase our relationship with Jesus Christ, it
goes like this- R+P+H+A= RC2 which means Read+Pray+Humility+Act =
Repent and change
Second in Sunday class the teacher had drawn a picture that
represented resurrection and gospel of Jesus Christ there is a picture
down in the bottom on how this looks. So because Jesus Christ over
came death and that bridge was formed we can continue through life but
at times we may make mistakes and fall in a pit but we can take steps
that have been provided for us to get out of those pits. From these
two things that I have shared its all done with action and attitude!
Developing Christ like attributes takes time and is a big process to
become like Jesus but as we do those things we shall have eternal life
(2 Nephi 31:20)! I am grateful for that we gain and can continue to
learn and grow in life. I love you all!
With love,
Sister-Hatch

Letter #36- Familias son para siempre

September 1, 2014
Everyone,
Firstly, I was just using the translator on the iPad , so the subject
says 'Families are forever'! I know this to be true because no matter
where I am at I can feel their love and joy no matter how far I am. We
have had a pretty good week with less actives and recent converts.
Every time I see a recent convert or less active come to church it
brings us joy and happiness because they are making a step back to
their Heavenly Father! I know Heavenly Father knows the desires of our
hearts and can help us when we ask and act on that help. I love you
all!
With all,
Sister-Hatch
